Aule dei tribunali sempre più off limits per le telecamere e fotografi: FNSI – Federazione Nazionale Stampa Italiana, Associazione Lombarda dei Giornalisti, USIGRai e Cdr Tgr Rai Lombardia: deriva pericolosa.
Un altro processo in Lombardia che riguarda fatti di cronaca di rilevante interesse pubblico in cui viene negato l’accesso delle telecamere.
L’ultimo caso riguarda la decisione odierna del Tribunale di Lodi in merito al processo per il deragliamento del Frecciarossa nel febbraio 2020 a Livraga, che costò la vita a due macchinisti: il giudice pur riconoscendo la rilevanza pubblica della vicenda, una delle pagine più nere del trasporto ferroviario italiano, ha fatto sue le richieste della difesa e ha negato l’ingresso alle telecamere della Rai, il servizio pubblico.
Prima c’era stato il processo ad Alessandro Impagnatiello in Corte d’assise a Milano per l’uccisione della compagna Giulia Tramontano, incinta di 7 mesi: un caso che ha sconvolto il Paese, ma la Corte pur confermando la sussistenza dell’interesse pubblico (anche perché primo processo di rilievo dopo l’introduzione del nuovo codice rosso) ha negato l’accesso alle telecamere visto il parere negativo di difesa e accusa.
Episodi che si aggiungono a quello avvenuto al Tribunale di Modena, quando sono state vietate riprese e foto nel corso del processo per l’omicidio di Alice Neri perché per il presidente della Corte d’Assise il processo “non ha interesse sociale rilevante”.
Secondo Fnsi, Usigrai e Cdr della Tgr Lombardia si tratta di una deriva pericolosa perché si nega ai cittadini il diritto di essere correttamente informati sull’andamento di processi di enorme interesse pubblico (interesse pubblico che viene deciso dai giornalisti e non dai giudici), anche quando riguardano una piaga grave come quella dei femminicidi.
Ricordiamo che per l’ordinamento italiano il processo penale è pubblico anche a tutela di tutte le parti coinvolte. Negare ai giornalisti la possibilità di raccontarlo con le immagini significa di fatto negare un diritto ai cittadini.
